I know I have been so slack and I am truly very sorry. At the moment life has been so full on and in all honesty, I have had an absolute mind blank on what to write and tell you guys but I am going to try harder to at least be posting once a week.
So to start us off I have just gone back to work after having 3 years off from proper work (even though I worked on the farm the kids came with me so that doesn’t count haha) so I’m getting back into the swing of things with juggling cooking, cleaning, working, all the school and kindy drop offs and pickups and their gymnastics as well. I Must say we went from busy where I thought there weren’t enough hours in the day to 10 times busier, so lately it has been all hands on deck around our house.

I have been asked lately “What are the kids up to this year?” So with our eldest starting prep, she has definitely been a lot busier but she also does gymnastics once a week as well and she has been absolutely loving both. Miss number 2 and our son do 3 days a week in kindy and also they do gymnastics which their classes are back to back so by the time we do school drop off then go home get dressed we are back out to class and that takes up at least half the day then it’s sleep time for the littlest and then back to school haha and as for our youngest thank goodness she is finally a lot better than she started out and there has been next to no doctors appointments needed and she is doing fantastic (touch wood 🌳)

Then with me back at work around 3 to 4 days a week and my husband has been working now for 6 weeks solid but 2 weekends we have been trying to make everything work as much as possible so that everyone hasn’t had too much of a shock with all the change.
So I wanted to talk a little about me going to work as quite a few people that know me have asked about it on what lead me to so many years away from work. Well before I had kids I left school in my first month of year 11 but because I was under 16 I was told to do that I have to work full time or study outside of school. So I got a job within the week got signed off to leave and also started a course at TAFE and believe me I loved it. I loved working and being busy as I was never a person who liked to just stay at home all the time. I worked through till I was just over 30 weeks pregnant with my first and then went on maternity leave for 12 months and was fully ready to go back but I fell pregnant with little miss 2 while on leave so decided to hand in my resignation and just stay home with the girls for a bit to enjoy them. Once miss 2 was about 6 months old I start doing volunteer work and went back and studied until my husband and I made the choice to move out west so that stop my career after from the kids. Then it took us through taking to kids to work with us and to me that was an amazing time of our lives because we got to see the kids enjoy and learn what it’s like to actually have to work for something and they love every minute of it but for me I have always said when the time is right I will go back to work and that time came and I got the right offer so we jumped at the chance.
So that’s a little about what has been happening in our crazy lives at the moment and hope to post again soon 🙂
Talk again soon CC ❤
Hello.
I’ve been following still. I was hesitant on messaging you. I was going to message just to make sure everything was going okay as there was no posts and last we all heard was that your little miss wasn’t too well. Glade to hear she is going well. Send my love.
If you don’t mind me being nosey; What job did you manage to snatch up? Is it a simple job or really full on? I’ve noticed you write about how the kids are impacted by you working and the busy lifestyle. How are you coping? Is it a struggle ? Do you meal prep?
Emily ❤
