Ok, so I know I said I was going to start posting again but life recently has unfortunately gotten in the way a little. I did try to start posting but we then had family come out and had been staying with us and then on top of that it was the end of year dance concert and I swear my life has been a little out of control since then haha but it is over (for now) and I can finally take a breath (I hope haha)

So for any of the families out there who have children that do dance know it normally has a million other things that you don’t think of that goes along with it, well times that by 2 because both our eldest girls do tap dance and it is just a real mess, there is their hair to do and make-up to apply and I swear you look at them and it looks perfect once you have spent about 3 hours getting them ready for them to in about 5 minute smudge everything you have just applied haha

And to make it even worse I am shocking at having patience let alone having the patience to do children’s make-up but I have gotten through it but will end up going through it all over again next year haha I swear I’m better for punishment but on a plus side I am at least prepared for what is to come 🙂

So come dance concert day we had everyone here the house was full with 3 adults, 3 teenagers, 3 kids, a toddler and a baby so you can imagine I went a little bonkers on that day haha. So here I am at lunchtime trying to get my 2 girls ready and then all the other girls in the house decide they want their make-up done as well so me being me said yeah if I have time which I did and I still don’t know how so I then ended up doing makeup on 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 kids so that everyone looked perfect for the night haha so I’m sure you can understand why I have been a bit absent

And guess what we made it through the night with no more incidences and they had a ball and I must say they look adorable and I am so proud of their first dance in front of an audience and they did great and kept on smiling 🙂 must say it was a big proud mummy moment

So I am back to a little bit of normalcy now and hope to keep on post frequently 🙂
