Why not for a funny little activity with the kids get some small canvases and let them go to town. We made these gorgeous little ones for mothers day last year and all the kids had so much fun doing them.

You can even make your own paint so that those little ones that like to eat that paint will be safe as ever.

We used it for my gender reveal because we had nonpaint in the house and it was a 5 minute process to make it. All you need is some corn flour and mix in some water in a pot until the mixture is a paste. Once these are together mix in a cup of boiling water and mix till smooth, then divide into containers and add food colouring and there you have it, kid safe paint 🙂 and washes straight out of clothes as well.
