So you no that old saying “when it’s quiet you know the kids are up to no good” well it is so very true.

I think the amount of times I will be doing something and all of a sudden I realize the house is quiet and it’s a shock to the system cause well with have 4 kids it means I am never in quiet, so you automatically start doing the search through the house wondering what are they getting up to and it’s normally one of 3 things:

1. Something is being destroyed and they are having a ball doing it

(eating stamps)

2. They are into something they know they aren’t meant to be in to

(playing with sudocream)

3. They are actually peacefully playing nicely together

Or you get the rare occasion of walking out into your hallway to find rice everywhere with a toddler sitting in the middle with a massive grin.

And 9 times out of 10 I feel like it’s more so one of those first 2 but then it takes just one of those all together moments that melts all the struggles away. So I guess you have to just cherish all the moments and remember to take a breath and as a lot of mum’s would agree have that well deserved glass of wine at the end of a long day haha 🙂

Oh and don’t forget put up all the pens, texta’s and sudocream 🙂
