Moving with Everyone

Oh my I must say I think one of the hardest things I have had to do is moving house with all 4 kids. I remember what it was like to pack and move with no kids but by god it was so much easier to be able to just pack at your own pace, then move and unpack gradually but with kids I swear you pretty much have to wait for the last minute to pack, then move and unpack as quickly as possible because the minute you get in the new place you know it’s going to be a matter of seconds before the kids are saying “can we play with our toys” and if they aren’t there and unpacked you will get nothing else done.

Now add to the equation that we just moved two hours away which sucked because it meant every load we had to factor in 4 hours drive there and back and on top of that our youngest was only 2 weeks old when we decided this move was what we needed to do and we had a week to pack move then clean. I’m not going to lie it was my far the hardest week of our lives and both me and hubby ran on pretty much no sleep. We were lucky to have people to help with kids but doesn’t work with the littlest when she is breastfed and had to go everywhere I went. It’s safe to say we drive a minimum of 4 hours each day that week and she now hates the car and I can’t blame I hate it now as well.

Now in the new house and you know when you are trying to set a place up the way you imagine it and it just doesn’t quite want to go the way you want it, well I have managed to shift annd swap the kids rooms around about 3 times now and I still don’t think they are quite right but you know I might get it one of these days, and once there done I can finally work on the rest of the house.

Talk again soon CC ❤
